Police are appealing for witnesses following a theft that occurred in Mablethorpe on last night (Sunday, September 14).

The theft occurred at around 8pm after a male was approached by an unknown female in the alley at the side of the Carousel Pub off the High Street in the town, who has asked if he had change for a £20 note.

He has taken his wallet out and when he has opened it, the female has taken all his money out of the wallet to a value of £40 and ran off with another male.

The female is described as white, in her mid 30s, 5ft 7 inches /5ft 9 inches tall and of medium build.

She had long black hair, black top, black tracksuit bottoms and trainers. She is also described as having a ‘gaunt face’.

The male is descibed as white, 5ft 9 inches to 5ft 10 inches tall of slight build and wearing a blue hat with a brim and a grey Adidas tracksuit.

Anyone with information should contact Lincolnshire Police by dialling 101 and quoting incident number 407 of September 14.
