Staff and pupils at Monks’ Dyke Tennyson College are celebrating an international gold medal from the British Council for their efforts to bring the wider world into the classroom.
The school’s outstanding work with partner schools around the world has been praised for its ‘outstanding commitment’.
The school has taken part in a range of partnership events with schools i places like Nigeria and Uganda.
Pupil Jennifer Moss said she’d gained a ‘valuable insight’ into culture in the wider world through the project.
Head of the Louth campus of Monks’ Dyke, Mike Eyre, added: “This is fantastic recognition for the work that the school does both in college and overseas.”
