Motorcyclists injured in road collision in Conisholme

Two motorcyclists have been injured in a collision on Main Road, Conisholme, near Louth.

Emergency services were called to the scene at 5.20pm yesterday (Sunday October 5) after a Vauxhall Corsa was involved in a collision with three motorcycles travelling within a larger group.

A 46 year-old woman from Leeds, who was a passenger on a Honda, suffered fractured bones and was taken to hospital in Grimsby. A 39 year-old man from Leeds, who was the rider of a Honda, went to an unspecified hospital in Hull, also suffering fractures.

The rider of the third motorcycle was uninjured.

The driver of the Corsa, a 50 year-old woman from North Somercotes, was treated in hospital in Grimsby for shock and minor injuries.
