A MUSIC event at Saltfleetby Village Hall raised £465 for Water Aid.

The hall was full with standing room only for an audience who enjoyed a varied programme.

Performing were Swynford Saxes, Somercotes Singers, Connor Bannister from Louthon vocals and guitar, Remixation, Lisa Statham and Lady Luck with Paula Baldwin as MC.

The evening was introduced by Chris Mackintosh-Smith of GMS Architecture, Louth, joint sponsors of the event, who gave a brief talk about the charity Water Aid and the ways in which the money raised would help to provide essential equipment for those without clean water and good sanitation.

The event was organised by Jane and Chris Mackintosh-Smith of Saltfleetby who are known locally for their involvement in music. Chris plays baritone sax in the Big Swing Band, and Jane sings in Lady Luck close harmony group from Nottingham.

Louth Town Football Club hosted and co-sponsored the event, providing the hall and bar for the evening.
