Saturday saw Louth officially gain a new Shell 24-hour petrol station and SPAR convenience store.

The new site also includes a Costa Express, ample parking, a Greggs and Subway counter, plus a seating area and customer toilets.

Geoff Hallam, managing director for Blakemore Retail, said: “I am delighted for the petrol station and the convenience services to finally be open for the residents of Louth as well as visitors and tradesman passing through.

“I was also thrilled that the Mayor of Louth took the time to formally open the store on Saturday and I’m really pleased for the great turnout of people we had come to the opening.”
