THE new Chairman of Lincolnshire County Council, Coun Robert Palmer, has said he wants to promote farming and food in the county.
He said: “I am very proud to have been elected as chairman and look forward to serving as an ambassador for Lincolnshire. My aim this year is to promote farming and the excellent food we all know and love.
“During my tour of duty, I would like to raise the profile of Lincolnshire and its agricultural background and let everyone know why we were voted Britain’s favourite food spot.”
During the year he will be raising money for the Endoscopy and Urology unit at Louth Hospital.
