The Pump House Recording Studio celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Saturday, September 27, bringing something new and unique to Louth.
The open event enabled members of the public to witness first hand the inner workings of a recording environment and even try their hand at modern music making techniques.
Staff were on hand to demonstrate equipment whilst live music was provided by local indie rock band The Warbirds.
The studio is situated in the former gas pumping station of Louth Town Gas on Thames Street, giving the studio its name - The Pump House.
For the last two years, Louth resident and record producer, Tom Milner has led the renovation works.
“The studio will be accessible to anyone wanting to get into music and get something recorded, at an affordable price.” Tom explained.
As well as the commercial studio, The Pump House also offers band practice space and music tuition.
