Lincolnshire Police have started their search for the county’s future police men and women, and are holding a recruiting event in Louth.

The recruitment campaign began on Monday and the force are looking to recruit enough officers to fill intakes for 2014 and 2015, and possibly beyond.

This is the first time in over three years that Lincolnshire Police have been in a position to recruit, and for many people, it’s the opportunity they’ve been waiting for.

In order to get an application pack, people must attend one of the recruitment events held around the county. These will be at:

Stoke Rochford Hall, Grantham on August 22 at 2pm

Kenwick Park Hotel, Louth on August 28 at 6.30pm

Bishop Grosseteste University, Lincoln on August 29 at 9.30am

Fenside Community Centre, Boston on September 3 at 1pm

The recruitment events have been arranged to ensure that potential recruits are given the chance to find out more about the role of police officer and what will be expected of them.

It will also provide an opportunity for people to ask questions and make sure a career within the police service is right for them before embarking on the application process.

Places on the events must be booked on line and people are encouraged to secure their places quickly, as they are limited to 250 for each event.

Anyone interested in a fulfilling and challenging yet rewarding career, is encouraged to look on the Lincolnshire Police website Join Us section, and find out more about whether a police officer career could be just what they’re looking for.
