INVESTMENT worth £40,000 will help local local people to live ‘a better quality of life’.

Over 2,500 users of the HEELERS exercise referral programme at the Marisco Medical Centre in Mablethorpe will have access to new equipment thanks to an NHS cash injection.

The programme prescribes exercise for people with ill health to help ease their ailments.

“A large proportion of people living on the coast suffer from ill health and we hope the exercise and support programmes, like HEELERS, help them to live a better quality of life,” said Coun Sandra Harrison.
