Louth Conservative Club held a Boxing Day disco in 1998 which helped the James Street Practice in the town be able to purchase a new defibrillator.

£204 was raised at the event thanks to a raffle which was held on the night.

The money gratefully received from Pat Taylor, who was presenting the practice.

Pictured is: Event organiser Paul Dawson, president Ron wain, club secretary Bob Strathern, with the practice nurse Pat Taylor and Floss and Barry Andrews.

Missing from the photo at the time was Jackie Snowden, who helped to put the successful event together.
