LOCAL artist Wendy Reeve took a trip to Lacey Gardens Primary School in Louth and gave year three pupils a two-day modelling workshop.

Wendy visits the school on a regular basis and worked with all pupils in the year group, splitting the students up and taking half of the year on one day and the other half on the second day.

Over 60 children took part during the two-day period.

The children learned all about model making using mod rock and paper in order to make some special Olympic models of athletes.

Liz Nicholls, part of the school’s art team, said: “The children absolutely loved making models with Wendy.

“Wendy visits regularly and came to us for two days, it was a great success.”
