Play Rangers wanted

Play Rangers will be returning to East Lindsey this summer to provide activities for young people and families.

East Lindsey District Council, which runs the programme with New Linx Housing Trust and Children’s Links, wants to hear from anyone interested in becoming a Play Ranger. Call Lindsay Barrett on 01507 613448.

Play Rangers will work at a variety of locations across East Lindsey whipping up exciting activities for local people and visitors with fun, games and activities that are both healthy and enjoyable. Play Rangers must have relevant qualifications and experience in delivering activities to young people and their families.

Senior Cultural Officer at the Council, Matthew Archer, said: “Whether it’s playing on rope swings or making dens, playing a family game of rounders or making things , the Rangers will focus on playful activities that keep children, young people and families entertained and healthy.”

If you are interested in becoming a Play Ranger, please register your interest by April 26.
