On Saturday August 24 there will be the second Poetry Day of 2013 to be held at Spout Yard Park.
There will be two poetry sessions, the first from 3pm to 4pm and the second at 7pm until 8pm.
All those who want to go along and listen to or read poems will be most welcome to join in.
This will also be a Volunteer Day, when those who would like to help with gardening, grass cutting, maintenance or events in Spout Yard Park can meet the trustees to find out more.
There will be two sessions for this, between 2pm and 3pm and from 6pm to 7pm.
Carole Romaine, the Chair of the Trustees, said: “Two of our long serving trustees have retired after several years’ valuable service to the park, and I would welcome two new trustees to continue to assist with the management of the park.
“If you would like to become a trustee of Spout Yard Park Management Trust, or a volunteer, giving as little as 10 hours a year please come along and discover the pleasures of the park, a ‘little gem’ in the heart of Louth.”
