Police hunt further clues after fatal road crash near Louth

POLICE are hunting for further information after a fatal road collision at South Ormsby, near Louth.

A 67-year-old man from South Humberside, who was on a blue Triumph motorbike, was killed when he collided with a silver Vauxhall Corsa at the Bluestone Heath junction around 1.40pm on Sunday, March 11.

Police are keen to speak to the rider of a motorbike travelling north from Ulceby Cross roundabout towards Louth on the A16 just moments before the crash before going on to South Ormsby. They believe the rider may hold key information that could help with their enquiry.

The two occupants of the Corsa, the 79-year-old female driver and a 78-year-old male passenger, both from Boston, were uninjured.

The motorcyclist died at the scene.
