Police investigating robbery at Ulceby Cross service station near Alford

Police are investigating a robbery that took place at Ulceby Cross service station, near Alford.

Police were called to the scene at 9.45pm last night (Monday, August 19), after staff raised the alert about a robbery at the premises.

Two offenders had entered the shop and assaulted the cashier before stealing money from the till.

The suspects are described as white males. One was wearing a black tracksuit top and black tracksuit bottoms with a red stripe and the other had a grey hoody and blue tracksuit bottoms.

They then left the area in a black car, possibly a Renault.

One of the staff members, a 21 year-old man from Alford was treated at Boston Pilgrim Hospital for a head injury but has since been discharged. His 60 year-old female colleague was shocked but unhurt.
