Police seek witnesses to after man assaulted in Mablethorpe

POLICE are on the hunt for three men who allegedly assaulted a 17-year-old Mablethorpe man.

Police say the victim was attacked when walking home from Quebec Road along Meers Bank to Crook Bank at around 8.45pm on Tuesday, March 6.

A spokesperson said: “He was approached by three men who assaulted him, causing minor injury and damage to his clothing.”

The victim is a white male of slim build who was wearing a black jacket over a grey white t-shirt and blue jeans.

The offenders are all described as males wearing black hooded tops with the hoods up, dark trousers and red bandanas obscuring their faces.

Two of the offenders were white and the third was possibly black or of mixed race.

Police say they may have been using a vehicle.

PC Paul Copley, from Mablethorpe Police Station, is keen to hear from anyone who saw the offenders or the victim that evening.
