POLICE are hoping to reunite a puppy, believed to have been stolen from a farm in North Somercotes, with its owner.

The four-month old springer spaniel went missing from a kennel on the farm in Back Lane overnight between Wednesday and Thursday, July 11 and 12.

It is believed the puppy, which is brown and white with a distinctive white flash on its ear, was stolen as there was evidence of damage to the kennel.

The dog was not wearing a collar but is microchipped.

Anyone who has seen the puppy, or knows of one being offered for sale, should contact PC Rachel Dobson on 101, quoting incident 105 of July 12.
