The toilets are already closed and the septic tank is said to have reached the end of its life with no prospect of replacement.

Demolition work would start in April if approved by planners but Heckington Parish Council has already accepted its demise, saying it is a shame but: “The amount of ongoing and repeated history of damage to this building, along with the continued reports of ‘unsavoury’ activities and the lack of resources offered to maintain the cleanliness and security has led Parish Councillors to agree that, unfortunately, this is the best course of action.”
