A couple from Mablethorpe have opened up a new pottery and ceramics business to provide a place for children who love art to develop their skills.

Kal and Chellsea Lamb recently set up Eastide Ceramics and Paint Your Own Pottery Studio in Wellington Road.

Kal has always been a man of the arts and spent 15 years working in America teaching pottery classes to youngsters at Camp America.

He said: “After coming home and settling down after working for many years in America, opening up my own shop in my hometown of Mablethorpe was something I’ve always wanted to do.”

He added that it provides something the town doesn’t already have and opens up the doors as a place for youngsters to come that enjoy art over sport or dance.

He said: “It’s the perfect activity for the whole family and can be enjoyed in all weathers. Ladies night and children’s parties have been very popular to date.”
