Pub charity night serves up £600 for the St Barnabas Hospice

IT WAS a full house for the annual charity night at the Cross Roads Inn, East Barkwith, when £600 was raised for St Barnabas Hospice, Lincoln.

Entertainment was provided by folk singer John Daley and Denis Ivatt was on duty on the barbecue serving up the cooked meat.

Prizes had been donated for the raffle and Kay and Joe Donocik sold the tickets while Mike Perkins, of Perkins George Mawer and Co gave his services as auctioneer selling donated goods for the charity.

Pub meals were also available, cooked and served by mine hosts Emma and Adie and their staff on what was a very busy night and thanks are due to them for their hospitality.
