Queen’s honour for Lincolnshire’s Coastwatch in Mablethorpe and Skegness

The Queen’s award for voluntary service has been awarded to Lincolnshire’s National Coastwatch which will be a joint honour between the Mablethorpe and Skegness branches.

Mablethorpe’s Station Manager Tony Mee, commented that it is an ‘honour for Lincolnshire to have their voluntary services recognised.’

The coastwatch station in Mablethorpe will be celebrating the honour with a small gathering in due course when the official certificate and commemorative piece of engraved crystal arrives.
