Remembrance Sunday information for Mablethorpe and Sutton on Sea

Remembrance Sunday is a day we will never forget, as we celebrate the lives of those brave men and women who fought for our country.

This year both Mablethorpe and Sutton on Sea will be having their Remembrance Sunday services at the same time on November 11 and is the first time that this has happened, as in previous year’s the service in Sutton on Sea always ran after the Mablethorpe service.

In Mablethorpe, everyone will be assembling at Mablethorpe Community Hall in Stanley Avenue at 9.30am.

At 9.45am, the procession will begin led by the Clergy and the United Remembrance Sunday Service at the Community Hall will take place from 9.45am until 10.30am.

The parade from the Community Hall, prayers and laying of the wreaths will then take place at Mablethorpe War Memorial will be from 10.40am until 11.30am.

In Sutton on Sea, the assembly point will be at Sutton on Sea War Memorial at 10.45am and prayers, laying of the wreaths and hymn will take place at the memorial from 10.55am.
