The Lincolnshire Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA) in Louth recently held a companion dog show at the Lincolnshire Rural Activities Centre (LRAC), which turned out to be a big success.

The event was organised to raise funds towards the purchase of a fully interactive simulator horse that will be of benefit to not just the RDA but other organisations and charities that can gain benefit from all this simulator offers.

About 138 dogs entered the 10 classes and were full of variety and fun. Prettiest bitch was a very popular class with 30 entries.

Rosettes were awarded for every entrant down to sixth place, with treat bags for the first three in each class and sample dog food packs for all entries, all kindly sponsored by local pet retailers.

Organisers said that the day was a ‘happy and memorable one’.

In total on the day, £538 was raised and a big thank you goes out to everyone who came along and supported the event.
