Go along to a Brew for the Crew at the Louth branch of Norwich & Peterborough building society on Thursday August 22 in aid of the RNLI.
The branch in Mercer Row will be putting on a spread of biscuits, warm and cold drinks and a range of fundraising games.
The branch will be looking a bit damper as the team create a ‘hook-a-duck’ competition with prizes available for the little ones.
Alongside the ‘quacking’ event the team at N&P Louth have sourced prizes for a raffle and will be running a children’s colouring competition with a cuddly toy prize.
As the RNLI is N&P’s Charity of the Year the branch will also have limited edition RNLI items on sale for the next few months for anyone who can’t make it to the Brew for the Crew morning.
Claire Ravenscroft, manager of N&P’s Louth branch, said: “We wanted to hold an event to raise money for the RNLI that would also capture the spirit of summer and having fun.
“We’re all going to be working hard to create some refreshments to sell as part of the event and the hook-a-duck will definitely provide some fun and laughs throughout the coffee morning. I hope lots of people will come along and join in and help us raise a fantastic amount for the RNLI.”
The RNLI fundraising Brew for the Crew event will run from 9am to 12noon on Thursday 22nd August 22.
