The Brackenborough Hotel teamed up with the Louth based Samsung Honda team to combine a sit down meal, with the opportunity to meet the team and three riders, in the hotel’s newly finished Tennyson Suite.
The sell out event was a great success allowing guests the opportunity to meet and talk to the riders, as well as get autographs and photos, and see a selection of the bikes.
Dinner was followed by a question and answer session with the three riders, hosted by Neil Tuxworth, Honda Racing Manager, where the audience gained a behind the scenes insight.
Ashley Lidgard, owner of the Brackenborough, was delighted with the outcome.
He said: “We have a long standing relationship with the team and have done business with them for over 15 years now.
“To be able to collaborate with them in this way, and offer up something to their local fan base is something we are now in a position to do, with the large capacity of the Tennyson Suite.
“The feedback has been amazing from the guests, and our sincere thanks go to Neil Tuxworth, Havier Beltran, and all of the team personnel who came and interacted with the guests, and we hope we are able to do something similar again in the future.”
The Samsung Honda team consists of Ryuichi Kiyonari, Alex Lowes and Jason O’halloran. The British Superbike championship boils down to the final round on October 20 between three-time champion Shayne Byrne and Samsung Honda’s Alex Lowes.
