One of the most successful shops in Louth has chosen to sponsor the annual Leader Champions Community Awards 2013.
Specsavers in Louth is at the heart of the community and the store, which opened in November 2004, has seen many changes over the years. When it opened, the store had two consulting rooms and now has three, with a fourth planned for next year. It started with a mere five employees, including store directors Jenni Brown and Andrew Downes, and the team has since grown to over 21 strong.
Jenni Brown, store director at Specsavers in Louth, commented: “Specsavers in Louth is well established in providing a quality service to our customers. Three of our original team members have worked here since we started in 2004, highlighting their dedication to provide an optimum service to our customers.
“The store always tries to play an integral part in the local area and sponsoring the Leader Champions Awards allows us to back the many worthy members of our community, who have helped and supported us with our continued success and growth.”
The annual Leader Champions Community Awards celebrate the courage, dignity and outstanding achievements of the people in the community.
Jenni continued: “We’d encourage residents in the local community to come forward and nominate those deserving people whose hard work and contributions to the Louth area make a real difference. It’s always really heartwarming to see the number of admirable people, who often go unnoticed, get the recognition they deserve and I’m looking forward to reading the nominations.”
