The restoration and refurbishing of St Mary’s Church, East Barkwith has now come to an end and the church is open and in use once more for services after a lengthy period of closure while the work was in progress.

It is to be formally re-opened and re-dedicated by the Right Reverend Christopher Lowson, the Bishop of Lincoln at 10am on Sunday September 8 and all are invited to attend. Tea and cake will be served afterwards and the church will also be open on Saturday September 7 between 2pm and 4pm.

The Village Church Committee is to hold a fundraising evening, a Party in the Paddock adjacent to the church by kind permission of Mike and Jane Perkins on Saturday August 31.
