A NEWLY created steering group aiming to do their bit for local youngsters is going from strength to strength.

The group, representing Mablethorpe, Sutton on Sea, Alford and surrounding areas held its second meeting last week at Mablethorpe’s Marisco Medical Centre.

This enthusiastic group of professionals and parents who live and work in the area aims to focus on dyslexia and literacy difficulties and would like to raise local attainment levels.

They would also like to provide opportunities for young people that will assist their development.

Membership is still open to schools, health, and associated service providers, the next meeting is at the same venue on December 19 at 1pm.
