Street dancers at Studio 2000 in Louth recently took in the British Dance Associations (BDO) 2015 East Anglian Championships.

The team, known as S2K, was formed in the Summer of 2014 and had a huge first success last year at their first BDO competition achieving fourth place in the 14 and under crews section.

This time round, with improved skills, a stronger team bond and new found confidence, S2K placed second this year.

S2K also had eight competing soloists, four of which danced through three heats into the semi-finals of their categories. Another two danced their way into the finals, with Holly Coles achieving second place in the 16 and under category and Conor Goldby achieving an incredible first in the 14 and under category.

The teams coach, Ellie

Hales and principal of Studio 2000 dance school, Nicola Goldby could not be any prouder of them all and what they continue to achieve.

Ellie commented “ The dnacers support for each other was very inspiring and so lovely to see.

“Their hard work and dedication also makes them an absolute pleasure to teach”.

In their upcoming street dance lessons, S2K will

begin yet again a new routine and continue to come

back bigger and better - a fabulous weekend was had by all involved.
