A LADY from Louth who has been an inspiration to many with her charitable drive has given a donation to Rej’s Dream from the Three Peaks Challenge she excelled in recently.
Sue Mison of Cordeaux Close gave herself a new lease of life when she lost an incredible 10 stone in weight.
Since then she has driven towards completing different charity events raising money for a number of good causes, one of which included Rej’s Dream.
Sue recently completed the national Three Peaks tackling Snowdon, Scafell Pike and Ben Nevis. She raised £365 for the charity.
This was her second time taking on the challenge and decided this time Rej’s Dream would be a great charity to choose. She said: “I picked Rej’s Dream this year to raise funds for as I’m good friends with Rhianna’s mother Kerry Jeffrey and the treasurer of the charity, Julie Harrison, is my sister-in-law.”
Sue now wants to take on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge which, due to bad weather this year she could not do. The climbs include Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough.
Sue continued to say: “I’ve been training hard every day and as long as locals are willing to sponsor me, then I’ll continue to raise money for charity. This time I’m raising money for Lives. People are very interested in what I’ll do next.”
