Supper raises £470 for the Ark animals

A psychic supper was held recently in the Conoco Phillips Room at Louth Library which helped the Ark Animal Rescue and Retirement Home.

A raffle was held at the proceeds were given to the Ark at North Somercotes.

The amount raised was £470.

The Spiritual Community Centre would like to thank the following businesses for their donations - Co-op, McLeods, Fairburn Butchers, Boyes, Bargain Buys, Mr Chips, Eve & Ranshaw, Meridian Meats, The Cheese Shop, Pocklingtons, Jacksons, Stevensons, MSR Newsagents, Wrights and Faulkners.

The Ark is open to visitors every day of the year, except Christmas Day, from 12noon to 3pm.

The gates will not be opened before 12noon to enable staff to get cleaning and feeding done in time.

If you are dropping off food, bedding etc outside these hours, please leave in the collection bin outside the gates.

The Ark welcome cat food, tinned, pouches or dry, Whiskas or Felix kitten pouches in jelly and tins of Chappie dog food which they can give to dogs with sensitive stomachs. Also, fresh carrots and vegetable for rabbits and guinea pigs.
