Louth man Les Viner, whose cancer survival story was featured in the Leader last month (April 29), has completed his gruelling 55-mile Louth Meridian Cycle Sportive around the Wolds, raising over £1,000 for the Oesophageal Patients Association so far.

Les completed the course in just over four hours, along with his friend Bronya Glet. His son-in-law, Michael Watts, and his friend Carl Harris both completed the 30 mile route.

It’s not too late to make a donation to the Oesophageal Patients Association - simply visit https://mydonate.bt.com/fundraisers/lesviner1 and follow the instructions on the page.
