A HIGHLY successful one and three mile fun run and walk was held at the weekend in aid of this Sunday’s Sutton on Sea Carnival.

Over 50 people from all different ages entered the event held on Sunday, July 24, with a total of £134 going directly towards the costs of organising and running the Carnival this year.

Adam Beniston from East Coast Martial Arts, a former world champion kickboxer, gave an expert warm-up session beforehand.

Debbie Prince, ELDC Neighbourhood Projects Officer who organised the run along with Zoe Bloomfield, said: “We would just like to thank everyone that took part in the fun run and we have had really good feedback from everyone that took part saying how much they had enjoyed themselves.”

Organisers are now looking into making the fun run an annual event in Sutton on Sea.
