A man from Sutton on Sea has been sent to Lincoln Crown Court for trial on an allegation of burglary of a dwelling house.

Bradley Aaron Smith, 24, of Alford Road, entered no plea to the allegation that he had broke into a bungalow in Camelot Gardens between the dates March 25 and March 28 this year.

It was alleged that he stole golf clubs alongside a number of golf accessories and a signed football.

The magistrates had ruled that this case was not suitable for a summary traial and made the decision to adjourn the case to Lincoln Crown for a preliminary hearing that will take place on August 13.

Magistrates have granted Smith unconditional bail until his crown court appearance.
