THE Tetford flower and vegetable show committee has recently presented a cheque to help support the construction of the new Louth and District Hospice.
The funds given to the hospice totalled £150 which was raised from last year’s show and the group are always keen to make sure the money raised from their shows are given to charities that are local.
Secretary of the show committee, Megan Leech said: “We always want to give money raised from the show to local charities and we knew the hospice build had began and thought it would be an amazing cause to support.”
The annual show for the Tetford community has been successfully running for the last 60 years and gets bigger every year.
Doreen Stephenson added: “The hospice wouldn’t be possible without the community groups that kindly think of us.”
