A Theddlethorpe woman is
due to face trial by jury
at Lincoln Crown Court later this month, facing a charge of causing
death by driving without due care and attention.

Katherine Mary Howe, 50, 0f Harps Bridge Lane in Theddlethorpe, appeared at Skegness Magistrates’ Court on May 26 on charges arising from a fatal accident in Alford last October, which resulted the death of a 23-year-old motorcyclist,
later named as Nathan Askew from Swaby.

No plea was taken at Skegness Magistrates’ Court, and the court directed that the case should be dealt with through a jury trial.

Howe’s trial is scheduled to begin at Lincoln Crown Court on the morning of
Tuesday June 9.

In the meantime, Howe was granted unconditional
bail.
