Thefts from vehicles in Holton le Clay

POLICE are appealing for information following a spate of thefts from vehicles that took place overnight between Sunday and Monday in Holton le Clay.

A satnav was taken from a Ford Focus parked on a driveway in Edinburgh Drive, loose change removed from a Honda CRV in Fenwick Court, a lottery ticket taken from a car in Beverley Close and a search made of a Hyundai Getz in Louth Road.

Inspector Mark French, from Louth Police Station, said: “At least three of these vehicles were unlocked at the time of the theft and the offender has been able to easily access the inside of the car, rifling through possessions and removing anything of value.

“We urge motorists to give careful consideration to their vehicle security, ensuring that windows are closed, doors secure and valuable items removed”.

Anyone with information should contact Louth Police Station on 0300 111 0300 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
