Three year ban for Althorpe drink driver

Richard John Hawksworth, 37, of Hop Close Villas in Althorpe, pleaded guilty to driving while over three times the legal limit.

He was found to have 243 milligrammes of alcohol in 100 millitires of blood - the legal limit being 80 milligrammes - in Scunthorpe on November 1 last year.

He received a six month alcohol treatment order, a four month curfew and a three year driving ban at North Lincolnshire Magistrates Court.

He was ordered to pay £85 costs and a £60 victime surcharge.
