Man dies in hospital after A18 crash near Louth

THE man injured in the crash on the A18 at Cadeby in November has died in hospital.

Jason Doyley, 39, of Ulceby, near Immingham, was driving his red Ford Galaxy on Sunday, November 27 when it left the road on a bend and collided with some trees.

He sustained serious head, chest and pelvic injuries and was transferred by air ambulance to Hull Royal Informary. He died at Grimsby Hospital on New Year’s Eve.

An inquest will shortly be opened into the man’s death.

No other people were involved in the collision which took place around 10.15am.

Lincolnshire Police are continuing to investigate the cause of the crash and are keen to speak to anyone who saw the collision or the car in the moments before.
