Police and ambulance called as two cars collide in Louth town centre

Two cars were involved in a minor collision in Louth town centre at lunchtime today (Thursday).

Police and an ambulance were called to the scene in Eastgate, near to the old Woodman pub, just before 1pm.

A black Vauxhall Corsa, driven by a motorist from Sutton on Sea, collided with a red Honda Civic, whose driver was from Louth.

Police say there were no injuries and the ambulance was called because a woman involved in the collision was shaken up.
