Louth Triathlon returns on Sunday, September 6, starting and finishing from the Meridian Leisure Centre in Louth.

This year’s event features a new route and organisers are hoping people will come out to cheer the participants (hoped to be in excess of 200).

The spectacle starts at 9am with swimmers beginning their triathlon in the Meridian Leisure Centre (MLC) pool, before moving out into the quiet Lincolnshire countryside roads for the 22km bike ride through the villages of Alvingham and Yarburgh. Ahead of crossing the finishing line, the athletes complete a quick 6km run around the roads near to the MLC.

Sign up for the event until September 1 via www.sbrevents.co.uk.

Volunteers are also being sought to help out on the day between 7.30am-1pm. If you are able to help, call 07850 572838.
