A NUMBER of local residents lent a hand during a planting event at Trusthorpe’s Community Garden last week.

Neighbourhood Management are currently maintaining and developing the garden and organised the event in preparation for the Queen’s Jubilee celebrations as well as In Bloom.

The garden originally opened in November after over three years of hard work.

Project Manager Colin Greenaway said: “The garden at the moment is looking fantastic and is a great credit to everyone involved.

“Trusthorpe Neighbourhood Management would welcome anyone interested to come along and assist and to ensure the garden continues to maintain its attractiveness for the benefit of the community.”
