Have your say

A group of travellers, which set up camp in Louth Cattle Market’s coach parking area on Tuesday evening (May 12), have now moved on.

As reported previously, East Lindsey District Council had begun legal proceedings against the group in order to move them on, and had been aiming to secure a court date as soon as possible.

Having said that they would be moving away by the weekend, it appears that the travellers have kept to their word, with nearby residents reporting that they left the site yesterday evening (May 15).

The travellers stated that they would be now be returning to Ireland.
