Vicious robbery at Saltfleetby

Police are appealing for witnesses after a 67 year old man was threatened with a knife and robbed at a strawberry field in Saltfleetby St Peter.

Two men entered the shop cabin at the premises on Three Bridges Lane shortly after 3pm on Thursday 9 June and demanded money. One of the offenders was carrying a scythe style bladed item which was used to intimidate the victim.

After obtaining an amount of cash, the two men ran off Three Bridges Lane in the direction of Theddlethorpe.

The first offenders is described as a white male, 5 9”/10” tall, medium build, wearing dark blue navy hooded coat (knee length), ski mask with orange tinted glass, dark blue jeans and black shoes/trainers.

The second male was wearing a light coloured fleece style top with hood covering his face, dark blue jeans. He was approx 5 5”/6” tall and of medium build.

The Victim believes that both males are about 18 years old.
