MOTORISTS are being forced onto the path on the narrow Eastgate in Louth after a parked car blocked the one-way street.
The busy road through the town centre has seen tailbacks with some motorists unhappy at having to negotiate the pathways in order to get past.
A driver has parked their car on the road, displaying a blue disabled badge, but there is not enough room to pass without mounting the path which is, of course, unsafe for pedestrians including children on their school holidays.
Parking is always a hot issue in Louth, with pedestrianisation of the town centre currently being debated and the responsibility for parking enforcement being passed from Lincolnshire Police onto Lincolnshire County Council.
