Eve & Ranshaw has reopened this morning after a three-week staff “reinvention” of the store - alongside former Dragons’ Den star Hilary Devey - for a upcoming Channel Four programme.

Mrs Margaret Ottaway MBE was invited to cut the ribbon by office manager Janette Arnold.

Ms Arnold told the Leader that the store’s owner, David Sandwith, turned over the store to his staff - which he believes to be his greatest asset - on January 31.

Ms Arnold said: “Together with a budget, we were given three weeks to reinvent Eve & Ranshaw and put our stamp on it, and that is what we’ve done. Our efforts are now on show today.”

Channel Four film crews have been in Louth getting footage of the reinvention for part of the documentary series, which will see company bosses at stores across the country hand over the reins of their business to their employees.

The documentary series, with a working title of ‘The Takeover’, is due to be aired sometime in the Spring.
