Tickets have officially gone on sale for what is being billed as one of the biggest ever sporting occasions ever in Louth.
England Women’s cricket captain Charlotte Edwards and Arran Brindle launched the sale of tickets for Louth’s first ever international match with local students on Thursday.
England Women will take on Pakistan Women in a one-day international at Louth’s London Road cricket ground on Monday, July 1.
Overall 1,000 tickets for the hotly-anticipated match have gone on sale, priced at £10 each.
Schools across East Lindsey will receive a total of 900 free tickets to the game, giving young people in the district an opportunity to see Lincolnshire host its first ever international cricket match.
