Residents gathered in Louth’s town centre yesterday evening (November 27) to watch the official switch-on of the Christmas lights.

Mayor Andrew Leonard was joined by eight-year-old Lacey Gardens pupils Millie Betteridge, who recently underwent open heart surgery, to press the plunger and illuminate the town.
