Saturday marked the latest milestone in the planned £5 million development of Grange Leisure Park on the outskirts of Mablethorpe.
Already established as one of the most popular parks in the area, Grange Leisure Park is well known for its fishing lakes and peaceful surroundings as well as a relaxing retreat for static caravan and touring caravan holidays.
The latest developments include luxury holiday home plots a well as a brand new touring development with super pitches (hard standing bases each individually served with electric, water and waste disposal) and a luxury toilet and shower block.
As well as fishing, the site now boasts a challenging 9 hole golf course, all of which are open to the general public as well as a superb new children’s adventure play area and multi-use sports area where customers can enjoy a game of tennis, five-a-side football and more.
David Honman, Business Manager for site owners Coastfields Leisure said: “This is a significant new development for Mablethorpe and provides holidaymakers with high quality facilities which it is hoped will attract more visitors into the town as well as providing sustainable local employment.
“Our future plans for the park include a swimming pool, fitness suite, bar/restaurant, clubhouse, shop and café.”
Mablethorpe mayor, Coun Bernard Dobbs, officially opened the new golf course.
