VIDEO: Monks Dyke students take part in Sport Relief mile

STUDENTS at Monks Dyke Technology College took to the school field today in the glorious sunshine and took part in the Sport Relief mile.

200 students from the school as well as staff members and the headteacher all registered to take part in the mile run around the school field.

The event was organised by the year 12 sports leaders and students from years 7-13 took part.

The school have also been selling wristbands and students got to take part in the run in fancy dress.

With a £2,000 fundraising target the school has set themselves, they have already managed to raise £1,300 with more funds yet to be collected.
